Sit-ups for your brain

Our courses do not feature images of people meditating on a beach in Thailand at sunrise, rather the language, tools and techniques that we offer throughout reflect the realities of 21st century living.
Our aim is simple: to help you find calm, clarity, and perspective, and make modern life feel just a little bit less rubbish.
All our courses are welcoming, informal and interactive. We use everyday language, offering practical hints and tips, in how to get the most out of mindfulness and make it part of your everyday life.

Just as we need to make a commitment to exercise, we also need similar levels of self-discipline to persevere in the process of developing our mindfulness practice.
Throughout our courses (and hopefully beyond!), the discipline requires incorporating mindfulness into our everyday activities, so it becomes just part of who we are and what we do.
To help with this, it is recommended that throughout the course you set aside a particular block of time each day, six days a week, to practice at a time that works for you.
As you embark on our mindfulness journey, please remember that changing patterns of our minds, developed over a lifetime, requires the investment of time and effort, the benefits of which may only become apparent much later on. So as you work your way through the course, hopefully having fun along the way, please be kind to yourself patient yet persistent, committed and disciplined, offering your mindfulness practice the time you deserve.
